Grandma managed to catch a different side of Grace on camera which we have never seen before. Hardly, does she look so demure. The comments we have been receiving from cashiers at hyper marts to our relatives are often, “She looks so cheeky!” or “She’s very active eh?”
The Husband and I were both tickled pink when we saw the picture. It’s SO NOT her!!!

Dear Grace,
This is a backdated entry of one of the many things we have done during the June Holidays. Just a quick entry on Mercure Palm Resort, JB, Malaysia, where we spent a night on 17 June.
This is officially your first overseas trip using your passport. Mama and me decided to play safe and not to fly or to drive anywhere that’s too far, just in case. You cannot blame us for being too cautious.
Verdict:
- Near Singapore, 1 hour drive, no traffic jam using Second Link, in and out.
- Pretty decent room, parquet flooring.
- Big bathtub. We soaked you three times. Wouldn’t have done it in Singapore, limited water resources
- 2 huge swimming pools but we only went once. Rained on 18th before we checked out.
- But like all hotels, overpriced food and drinks.
- Room slightly aged.
Bottom line, you had fun, and that’s what matters. Now we are talking about flying…is it going to be Phuket for the sand and sea or Bangkok for the food and shopping. Or both?
